Near Oberhausen Hbf, 110 469 pushes an RE-7 to Hamm (Westf) on 21 February 2025 and carries an advertising livery celebrating 50 years of the childs programme "Sendung mit der Maus"(translatable to "Mouse Broadcast"). 

On 2 December 2023 SSN organised an extra Kerst-Express (X-Mas Xpress) from Rotterdam to Aachen because the first (schedukled for 16 December) sold out within a week. To accommodate the many disappointed would-be travellers, SSN organised a second Kerst-Express two weeks before the original scheduled one. After SSN 23 023 -which brought inmto Venlo the steamer- goty off the train, CBB 110 278 is being coupled (and filmed! -note the cameraman leaning out of the window of the first coach) to the Kerst-Express at Venlo on 2 December 2023. 
