Talented? S-Bahn S-2 enters Nürnberg Hbf on 2 May 2011 with 185 634 leading -courtesey of the massive delays of Class 442 entering revenue earning service and DB Regio had to fill in the gaps. Ten years after, it was again a Talent EMU design that caused trouble. In 2020 Bombardier put herself to a sad end after horrendous failures of the Talent-3 design, that lead the aircraft builder to sell off the train buidling component. And Alstom, of which many believed to be in the ropes, ended up as the winner when they took over the Bombardier train builder component.

On the return journey from Chaulin to Blonay I was able to photograph the RhB ABe 4/4 35 of the Blonay Chamby Railway upon arrival in Blonay. The railcar, which has only recently been operational again, is on the journey from Vevey to Chaulin with the Riviera Belle Epoque train.

The BLM Be 4/4 31  LISI  in the somewhat uninviting but functional train station of Mürren. With the end of the season and the system change for the new Be 4/6 101 - 103, the railcar was scrapped at the end of October 2024. July 23, 2024

For one summer there was  mixed operation  on the BLM, i.e. the new and old trains ran together, with the new Be 4/6 being used with reduced performance due to low voltage. The picture was taken in Mürren, while the Be 4/6 102  Mönch  has just arrived, the Be 4/4 31  Lisi  is leaving the station towards Grütschalp.
