On 1 June 2019 BEM's own 001 180 hauls an extra train from Donauwörth into Nördlingen due to 50 Years of the Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum in 2019.

On 29 may 2014, Frankfurter Pacific 01 118 runs round at Weinheim (Bergstrasse).

Steam train from Mannheim has arrived at Neustadt (Weinstrasse) on 31 May 2014 with 01 118 as traction. For years, this loco was used by the Historische Eisenbahn Frankfurt, but is now in private ownership after the demise of the HEF.

Sadly the weather on 30 May 2004 was grey when 01 066 visited the temporary ÖGEG base at Salzburg-Itzling during their 30th anniversary. The massive transfer to Ampflwang happened two years later. 
