On 3 March 1988 NS DE-II 171 quits Simpelveld to Kerkrade in the last year of NS operations on this Miljoenenlijn -a nice, but due to the geography rather expensive line to build.

On 18 March 2012 FYRA 186 118 speeds through Lage Zwaluwe on the high sped line toward Rotterdam.

FYRA 186 117 calls at Rotterdam Centraal with an IC-Direct on 16 October 2013. The mega-flopped FYRA brandings are still on the loco, but the trains are now called IC-Direct as NS Reizigers are in the proces to sort out the mess after the V250 debacle.
