Following problems with the ETCS and the withdrawal of the SBB Cargo Vectroms from non-ETCS routes, the SBB Cargo Vectroms can occasionally be seen again on the Simplon line, although the 193 077 at

The red SBB Re 6/6 11630 (Re 620 030-7) Herzogenbuchsee is hauling a tank car block train between Rivaz and St-Saphorin on its way to St-Triphon.

To my delight, the SBB Re 6/6 11626 (Re 620 026-5) Zollikofen, decorated with a mustache, is still in service; here with a very short freight train between St-Saphorin and Rivaz.

Following problems with the ETCS and the withdrawal of the SBB Cargo Vectroms from non-ETCS routes, the SBB Cargo Vectroms can occasionally be seen again on the Simplon line, although the 193 077 at Rivaz, with its three carriages, can't complain about too much work.

With two Re 6/6 locomotives, the EWKV SBB Cargo freight train from Lausanne Triage to Zürich RBL via Brig and Kandersteg is traveling between Rivaz and St-Saphorin. At the front of the train is the red SBB Re 6/6 11630 (Re 620 91 85 4 620 030-7 CH SBBC) "Herzogenbuchsee" leading the train, with the Re 6/6 11624 "Rothrist" assisting behind it. The picture was taken between Rivaz and St-Saphorin at the now well-known photo spot. May 16, 2025 
