2 ft gauge steam engine "Liseli" (Jung No 1693, built 1911) in service on the high alpin panoramic railway of "Parc d'Attractions du Chatelard (VS)" in Switzerland. View from the last passenger coach backwards in direction to the immense dam of "Lac d'Emosson". The dam's shadow will "eat" in few time the station "Pied du Barrage". On both sides the railway line are to see the vertical mountain rocks, because of that it is'n possible to reach the railway lines by footwalk. This photo I loadet up, because the uncomparable scenery on 1'800 metres about sea level is here best to see. 11 Sept 2010

Work to renovate the Baye de Clarens Viaduct is progressing quickly. In addition to the museum trains on the Blonay-Chamby Railway, MOB service trains from Chamby to the CEV also use the route. Another professional bridge is currently being installed over the actual bridge so that traffic does not have to be interrupted. This procedure has already been used successfully at the RhB. May 4, 2024 
