View from the road crossing of the Gièvres train station, where the Blanc-Argent shammal gauge line intersects with the standard gauge. In the background, the SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 was waiting to continue its journey. The diesel railcar runs as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and has a fairly long stop period of nine minutes. Gièvres train station. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon. Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres. April 7, 2024 

The SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 is traveling as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and leaves Gièvres station after a rather long stop of nine minutes. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon, the tracks of which can be seen in the foreground in the left part of the picture. Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres. April 7, 2024 
