On 5 May 2018, NS 9595 gets off the Waal bridge at Nijmegen. During the battle of Arnhem (17-25 September 1944) the Allied ground forces were fatally delayed by two SS-Panzer Divisions near this bridge to come to the rescue of a British paratroop batallion under John Frost that fought gallantly at the Rhine brigde at Arnhem.
