Back home. BLS 208 stands in Domodossola on 20 May 2006. Eight of these powerful beasts were orderen by BLS in two batches by Italian loco builder Breda. Until the 1990s these electrics were in revenue earning service and two, 205 and 208 have escaped the cutter's torch.

On 26 February 2025 BLS Cargo 475 419 hauls a container train through Oisterwijk. Once famous a photo hot spot, Oisterwijk has lost much of her photographic possibilities due to high fencing along the tracks and one has to be creative (legally) to get a decent photo here. 

The "Lötschberger" is back in the Bernese Oberland: BLS RABe 535 "Lötschberger" have been serving the R and RE routes Spiez - Frutigen and Spiez - Interlaken Ost since the timetable change, thus replacing the RBDe 565/566.
