It's raining cats and dogs on September 12th, 2008 in Liège and a very long special train has to be pushed up the ramp to Ans by the helper engine HLE 2226.

No question - SBB TILO RABe 524s are not uncommon in Gallarate on the Simplon line. But the destination of the train is surprising: Airolo (on the Gotthard). The solution to the puzzle: the SBB RABe 524 runs as S50 from Malpensa via Varese to Bellinzona and is extended to Airola during rush hour. May 23, 2023 
