An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier.

(ID 52529)

An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the Tahl and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future.

The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM
and was subsequently taken over by the BLS.

The SBB RABe 560 384 Domino, still painted in TRAVYS colors, is waiting in Lausanne as S 40 for departure to Vauderens. The rather unknown final station of the train is due to construction work, and from there it continues by rail replacement service (SEV).

Of the two (ex Travys) Domino trains, at least one is still operating in its original composition with ABt NPZ DO 50 85 39-43 985-5, B NPZ DO 50 85 29-43 385-8, and RBDe 560 DO 94 85 7 560 385-7.
The mentioned Domino is waiting with another Domino in Lausanne as S41 for departure to Fribourg. Either the ex Travys Domino is very well cleaned or newly painted; in any case, it makes an extremely well-maintained impression.
