Some NPZ RBDe 560 were prepared for French traffic from Basel to Mulhouse as RBDe 562. A conversion as a Domino was not carried out in order not to lose the French registration. The once planned mission to Mulhouse was abandoned after a few years. The last area of operation was RE Neuchâtel-Frasne as a TGV connecting train. The picture was taken in Frasne. From the timetable change in December 2019, SBB Flirt RABe 522 will take over the service. Nov 23, 2019 

Some NPZ RBDe 560 were prepared for French traffic from Basel to Mulhouse as RBDe 562. A conversion as a Domino was not carried out in order not to lose the French registration. The once planned mission to Mulhouse was abandoned after a few years. The last area of operation was RE Neuchâtel-Frasne as a TGV connecting train. The picture was taken right at the border near Les Verrières, part of the NPZ is still in France, the front part is already in Switzerland! Nov 11, 2019 

The once planned mission to Mulhouse was abandoned after a few years. The last area of operation was RE Neuchâtel-Frasne as a TGV connecting train. The picture was taken in Noiraigue, shortly before the RBDe 562 were replaced by SBB Flirt RABe 522 following the timetable change. Nov. 5, 2019 

Only the slightly longer stay of the RE 18122 Neuchâtel - Frasne in Pontarlier enabled me to find the end of the rather long fence so that I could still photograph the train leaving for Frase. Experience shows that photo trips to France by public transport are possible, but they require a bit of luck every now and then and should be based on solid advance planning. Oct 29, 2019 
