After hurrying to find a good spot to take photos along the route, I didn't have to wait long before the ASD 1914 BCFe 4/4 No. 1 arrived and made a great impression against the autumnal vineyards.

A new photo spot above Aigle, which is actually quite well lit around midday/early afternoon, even if there isn't much scenery to see.

The TPC AOMC / ASD Beh 2/6 542 ‘La Forteresse’ is travelling from Aigle to Les Diablerets as R71 440 and can be seen in the vineyards above Aigle. On the left of the picture, the castle of Aigle can be seen in the background. Although the Beh 2/6 N° 541 - 547 have been able to run on the ASD since they were put into service by TPC, they are rarely seen here. 9 February 2026 
