The TRN (TansN, ex cmn) BDe 4/4 N° 3 waits in Les Brenets for the return journey as R 24 to Le Locle. The route was actually supposed to have been laid at the end of 2023, but the storm damage caused on July 24, 23 was repaired and the railway should now continue to run until 2031. It should be noted that the BDe 4/4 3 and 5, manufactured in Italy in 1950, have now been in use for 74 years! If there were an increase in sustainability it would probably be BDe 4/4 N° 3 ... The TRN (ex. cnm) BDe 4/4 n° 3 waits in Les Brenets for the departure to Le Locle. And anyone who thinks that I have mistakenly posted the same picture twice is wrong: there are almost 15 years between the two pictures! As a rule, comparison images are used to show differences, but here it is the other way round - the images show how little has changed. And from all appearances, it should stay that way as long as the two BDe 4/4 3 and 5, who are now 74 years old, hold out.

After I fell into a clock hole (I didn't even know that something like that still existed in Switzerland...) I had enough time to take a few pictures in Les Ponts de Martel, because the turnaround time of the TRN/TransN Trains R22 in Les Ponts-de-Martel is otherwise quite short at six minutes. Thanks to clock gap, I could now devote myself to the question of how to photograph the TRN/TransN BDe 4/4 N° 8 in the train station of Les Ponts-de-Martel. The problem is that the railcar is somehow always partly in the shade. Here is the answer to the question asked. I used the freely accessible bicycle parking space and tried my luck here: the TRN/TransN BDe 4/4 N° 8 is waiting in Les Ponts-de-Martel as R 22 313 for the exit to La Chaux-de-Fonds. Feb 3, 2024
