The MRCE 653-09 (92 80 1266 119-7 D-DISPO) an EMD JT42 CWRM (Class 66/9) on 13.07.2013 in Ehringshausen (Lahn-Dill-Kreis) at the KBS 445 (Dillstecke). Here was the locomotive for unloading wagons with old ballast.

The General Motors  JT42 CWR-M “Class 66” is a heavy haul, 6-axle, diesel-electric locomotive.
The locomotive has a two stroke 2.420 kW / 3.290 HP, Turbo charged 12N-710G3B-T2 diesel engine. This DC powered
locomotive is controlled by an onboard computer (EM 2000) and has various feedback and sensing devices.
MRCE offers this locomotive homologated in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, including ETCS (L1 &L2) for the Betuwe Line and Rotterdam Harbourline.
The JT42 CWR design originated in the 1970’s, the current production model is the result of many improvements made since that time. It has proven itself to be a solid based model, and with its basic design and DC traction power, is a reliable asset in any fleet.

This locomotive was built in 2005 by EMD at the factory number 20048653-09.

After that, it changes direction of ride. Why this presidur? The right rhineline was closed the weekend from 4th of mai 2012 to tuesday 8th mai 2012, for the change from the manuel switchboxes to an centeralswitchbox.....so every train that went to the netherlands, it must take the line over Viersen and Venlo......5th mai 2012
