The TPC ASD ABe 4/8 471 arrived in Aigle as R71 431 from Les Diablerets and after just under an hour of turning time we drove back up to Les Diablerets as R71 440.

Due to a sharp increase in passengers, RegionAlps was forced to rent a RABe 528 from BLS, which frees up two RegionAlps Dominos. At the beginning of spring I saw and photographed a BLS RABe 528 and decided to photograph the train again in the summer, if possible with a ship. In early summer, however, I discovered that the RABe 528 was no longer running in the same round and I looked for it for some time in vain, so I thought that the operation had already ended. But when a BLS RABe 528 happened to pass me in Valais yesterday, I tried my luck in St-Gingolph today: While the BLS RABe 528 105  MIKA  is waiting to leave as R91 6121 to Brig, you can see it far out on the lake Steamship LA SUISSE the St Gingolph pier. The paddle steamer is on the round trip Lausanne OUchy - St-Gingolph - Le Bouveret - Villeneuve - Vevey - Lausanne Ouchy as CGN scheduled ship 202/203. July 24, 2024

The BLM Be 4/6 can now be seen in scheduled operation. They are currently running the current Be 4/4 21, 23 and 31 railcars in mixed operation, which is not that easy to show photographically. The BLM 4/6 102  Mönch  is almost at the end of its journey as R66 3747 from Grütschalp to Mürren in the foggy forest.

Shortly afterwards the TPC AOMC ASD Beh 4/8 591 arrives from the opposite direction, which is on the way to Les Diablerets as R71 436. Since the third round is also covered by an ABe 4/8, as seen fleetingly, the BDe 4/4 services will now probably become the exception. July 21, 2024

Since August 2022, the remote route in the Vallée de Joux has been directly accessible from the Mittelland thanks to the S-Bahn trains from Aigle and Lausanne. The picture shows an SBB RABe 523 coming from Aigle and reaching its destination Le Brassus.

The HG 4/4 704 (ex 40-304 from Vietnam) is on its way to Realp via the Furka mountain line with its steam train. The train left Oberwald a few minutes ago.

The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The train is waiting for the BLS RABe 521 to depart as R1 from Domodossola to Bern, in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen. January 3, 2024
