A TGV! at Villeneuve? - not that I have never seen one here, BUT in spring 2017 the last TGV de Neige ran from Lausanne towards Valais and back, because the connection could no longer be offered due to the conversion of the routes to ETCS. The TGV Bern - Paris via Basel ran via the main line instead of NBS due to the lack of ETCS equipment on the TGV trains. So it was more than surprising when a TGV suddenly showed up near Villeneuve today! 
In the picture the inoui TGV Rame 4715 near Villeneuve, the destination and purpose of the trip are unknown to me.

 Le Chablais en fête  at the Blonay Chamby railway. The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, was the reason for this year's autumn festival  Le Chablais en fête. The ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1 is a special attraction  TransOrmonan  of the TPC with its B 35 as a guest vehicle. The picture shows the BCFe 4/4 N° 1, built in 1913 and converted in 1940, building the Chamby train station.

 Le Chablais en fête  at the Blonay Chamby Railway. The BVB rack locomotive He 2/2 No 2 built in 1899 (SLM 1196/CIE) from the Blonay Chamby Railway is on display in Chaulin. Although the locomotive belongs to the Blonay-Chamby Railway, it can cannot be used on the Blonay Chamby Railway due to the lack of a cogwheel track. This is one of the few pictures of this locomotive where I managed NOT to cut off the pantograph, which was not that easy given its length. September 9, 2023

After the IRSI  Rheingold  Re 4/4 II 11387 (Re 421 387) arrived in Morges with its gravel train and pushed the train over the rolling trestle pit for the further journey on narrow-gauge tracks, the locomotive stopped for a long time. Unfortunately, the locations were hardly suitable for photography.

Due to construction work, passenger train traffic on the Simplon axis will be suspended for three months, but the  spaghetti train  from Perrigny to Torino Orbassano will still run, it will probably run via Novara. The picture shows the SBB Re 6/6 11639 (Re 620 039-8)  Murten , which, after waiting for the distance to the IR90, now picks up speed again and leaves Lausanne.

In the picture you can see the already positioned ASD BCFe 4/4 and the MOB FZe 6/6. The MOB BCFe 4/4 11 is still missing on track two, it is still behind the FZ 6/6 2002.

One reason for traveling on the high-speed route Torino - Milano, as with the high-speed routes Paris - Lyon and Madrid - Barcelona, ​​was the opportunity to photograph the elegant ETR 400 at full speed. In the FS on-line timetable, the Frecciarossa trains with ETR 400 are referred to as  Frecciarossa 1000 . At around 10:30 there were two such trains five minutes apart at the photo location I had chosen near Livorno Ferraris in the Po Valley. A little later than I had expected, the first  ETR400  arrived... ...it wasn't until I was evaluating the images a few days later that I discovered that it wasn't an ETR 400 but the FS Trenitalia ETR 600 004 in front of the camera drove. I didn't notice this  small difference  as the train passed quickly, and the new Frecciarossa paintwork suits the ETR 600 perfectly. Clicking on the online timetable revealed that the performance of the FR 9508 is actually offered with an ETR 600.
