On 1 July 2018 NS 2974 runs through Alverna with a stopping train to Wijchen.

Completely gone from Dutch tracks are the once ubiquitious TRAXX Class 186.0 and the ICR coaches. On 26 May 2017 NS 186 018 hauls such a rake through Tilburg Oude Warande. In 2018 NS used a sale-and-lease-back construction with Akiem to cut costs on the locos and from December 2025 all NS Class 186 were returned to Akiem, who lost no time in removing the yellow and blue.

On 26 May 2019 NS 186 114 hauls ICR stock through Tilburg Oude Warande. Since December 2025 all ICR hauled services have been consigned to the past, ending 150 years of loco haulauge passenger trains in national scheduled services within the Netherlands. Only international trains to and from Belgium and over night trains still are loco haule4d. 
