SSN's 01 1075 pays a visit to Loenen as support of the Terug-naar-Toen festival on 2 September 2018.

On 3 July 2012 Dordt-in-Stoom (Dordrecht in Steam) festival was held, with steam boats in Dordrecht's river harbour and with steam cars, steam tractors and the like on parade in Dordrecht.

SSN's 01 1075 pays a visit to Loenen as support of the Terug-naar-Toen festival on 2 September 2018. Sadly, due to COVID-19 restrictions, both the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled.

On 2 September 2018 VSM's 23 076 has arrived at Dieren with the last steam train of the day during the Terug naar Toen (Back to Yonder) festival.

With half an hour delay 011 075 hauls the first steam shuttle train for the Terug-naar-Toen steam bonanza into Dieren station. Here, the fastest steam locomotive in the Netherlands will run round and return with the -fully loaded- train to Beekbergen, head quarters of the VSM. 

Traditionally, the VSM hold each first full weekend in September their steam bonanza "Terug naar Toen" (Back to Beyond). Equally traditionally, Rotterdam-based SSN participates enthousiastically with at least two big steamers and a full train set. After the VSM Terug naar Toen festival, SSN 01 1075 stands at Dieren waiting for the go-ahead back to Rotterdam-Noord on the evening of 3 September 2023. 
