The Baye de Clarens Bridge is finally being renovated.

While the Trenord ETR 421 Rock waits in Varese to continue its journey to Porto Ceresio, the SBB TILO RABe 524 019 turns around in Varesse to later return to Como.

The two SBB Giruno RABe 501 012 (Solothurn) and 501 023 (Valais) are in Wassen on the way to Lugano.

The Baye de Clarens Bridge is finally being renovated. For a long time it was supposed to be completely new, but now the MOB has spoken out in favor of a renovation. The renovation concept used here has already been implemented with great success at the RhB on various, similar bridges. The work should last until the end of 2024.
