The MOB Ge 4/4 8001 is ready in Montreux with the GOLDENPASS EXPRESS GPX4064 for departure to Interlaken Ost.

The CEV MVR ABeh 2/6 7504 "Vevey" is waiting in the snowy Les Avants as R 34 2317 for the departure (from 1:13 p.m.) to Montreux (at 1:43 p.m.). As the kilometer sign on the contact line mast on the right of the picture shows, Montreux is only 8 km from Les Avants. What is not visible here is the height difference of 575 meters from Les Avants (970 m) to Montreux (395 m). January 3, 2025 
