Those two electricel locomotves of class 189 owned by the DB-AG, passes track 3 of Emmerich station with layed down pantographs.....the are riding straigth throug the AC/DC powerchangesection at this borderstation between Germany and the Nederlands....so when the switched the transformer on the dutchsystem, the pantographs will rise again and the locomotives bringin' there train straigth in to the habour of Rotterdam. Sunday 12th of august 2012

On an german bankholliday in the railmuseum of Bochum-Dahlhausen, a special steamtrain get's back to the museum. It is pulled by an russian steamlocomotive of the class 38 (or prussian P8). It was constructed by the prussian rail inspektor Robert Garbe who inventet most of den prussian locomotives in the last years of exist of the kings prussian railway company. The mashine is the class No. 38 2267 and its on the tracks every first saturday of the month or on bankhollidays from may to october.........so for 20.-¤ you can take a three hours trip to Hagen Westphalia and back.....come in and enjoy the lovly ruhrside. photo 17th may 2012

This belgium class 66 from the Captrain Company rides through the mainestation of Rheydt....at the holding sidings its changes from one end of the train to the other. After that, it changes direction of ride. Why this presidur? The right rhineline was closed the weekend from 4th of mai 2012 to tuesday 8th mai 2012, for the change from the manuel switchboxes to an centeralswitchbox.....so every train that went to the netherlands, it must take the line over Viersen and Venlo......5th mai 2012

Eastersunday the 8th of april 2012, I took this photo of the steamengine No. 20 of the museum railway IHS Selfkantbahn at the most western part of Germany. It is an 5.5 Km long in linedistance museum railway company, with there end and begining stations Gillrath and Schierwaldenrath near the city of Geilenkirchen. They present a lot of narrow gauge locomotivs, passangercars mostly the are 3rd. class coaches with woodenbanches and coalstoves and frightcars of the 19th and 20th century. While a ride on this railway between the eastersunday and last week of october you've got the feeling, that you where gone back to the early years of the 20th century .
