The HG 4/4 704 (ex 40-304 from Vietnam) is on its way to Realp via the Furka mountain line with its steam train. The train left Oberwald a few minutes ago.

The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The train is waiting for the BLS RABe 521 to depart as R1 from Domodossola to Bern, in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen. January 3, 2024

 Le Chablais en fête  at the Blonay Chamby Railway. The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars railway 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, were the reason for this year's autumn festival  Le Chablais en fête. The ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1 ran as a special attraction  TransOrmonan  of the TPC with its B 35 as a guest vehicle on the Blonay-Chamby railway, seen here turning around in Chamby for the journey to Chaulin (without the B 12).

While the ASD railcar is already in the shadows in Blonay, a CEV MVR ABeh 2/6 leaves the station towards Les Pléidades.

An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the  Tahl  and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future.

The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM 
 and was subsequently taken over by the BLS.

The two BAM MBC Ge 4/4 21 and 22 are waiting to depart in Morges with their gravel train from Gland to Apples. The gravel train made of standard gauge wagons was placed on roller stands in Morges so that it could travel more smoothly on the narrow gauge.

Durch strake Fahrgastzunahmen sah sich die RegionAlps gezwungen, bei der BLS einen RABe 528 zu mieten, welcher zwei RegionAlps Dominos freisetzt. Der BLS RABe 528 109 steht in St-Gingolph und wartet auf die Rückfahrt nach Birg als R 91 6125.
