In the middle of the vineyards, just before the Aigle Château entrance signal, I was able to photograph the new TPC ASD ABe 4/8 472. The train runs as R 71 435 from Les Diablerets to Aigle. November 2, 2024

Two of the three new ABe4/8 471 - 473 are in use, the third round is covered by one of the two TPC Beh 4/8 591 and 592. In the picture the Beh 4/8 591 as R 71 on the journey from Aigle to Les Diablerets in the colorful vineyards just above the Château d'Aigle, whereby the red leaves of the  wild wine  in particular motivated me to take this picture.

Between the Rhone plain and the steeply rising mountains there is not much space for planting vines, but on a long strip from Bex via Ollon and Aigle to Yvorne, a delicious wine grows in an advantageous location. The wide view over the vineyards in the distance towards Lake Geneva is particularly evident in this picture, which also features the TPC ABe 4/8 471 as R 71 439 on the journey from Les Diablerets to Aigle as a train motif.

The ASD - Yesterday and today: After the vehicles purchased when the railway opened in 1914 were used until the 1980s, BDe 4/4 took over the traffic for a good forty years. The ASD has now received three new ABe 4/8, which are already shaping the transport of the future. In the picture the TPC ASD ABe 4/8 471 is waiting to leave in Aigle.

From May 30th, the Romont - Bulle train service will be stopped for extensive renovation work. Shortly beforehand, (and for the last time for me) I see the TPF regional train to Bulle with the ex MThB ABDe 537 176-0  Stadt WIL  leaving Romont.

With the Bt 375 the TPF regional train from Bulle reaches the Romont train station. The picture was taken shortly before the route was closed due to renovation work at the end of May 2011 and thus also the end of the ex MThB vehicles in scheduled use. Interesting: despite the rather low frequency on this route at the time, the train ran in three parts, with a TPF middle car (probably EW I). For the sake of completeness: the pushing railcar is the ABDe 537 176-0  Stadt WIL . May 27, 2011

For one summer there was  mixed operation  on the BLM, i.e. the new and old trains ran together, with the new Be 4/6 being used with reduced performance due to low voltage. The picture was taken in Mürren, while the Be 4/6 102  Mönch  has just arrived, the Be 4/4 31  Lisi  is leaving the station towards Grütschalp.
