La DER de la Saison / The end of the season of the Blonay Chamby Bahn 2024 - For several years now, the Blonay Chamby Bahn has been showing its wonderful vehicles in action at the end of the season with a somewhat condensed timetable. At the end of the day there was, for my taste, the highlight of the end of the season celebration: The RhB Ge 4/4 N° 81; the magnificent locomotive is shunted in Blonay. Oct 27, 2024

After a long search we finally found it or got the opportunity to get a photo: in Bex there is the new RegionAlps RABe 533 703. Behind it is the SBB RABe 531 002. Interestingly, the RegionAlpes multiple unit has different colors, a different division of the 1st class and another series designation is an SBB multiple unit, as the UIC number announces: RABe 94 85 0 533 703-0 CH-SBB October 30, 2024

As a guest, Infrabel ES907 stands in the Retrotrain museum at Saint-Ghislain on 17 August 2024. Due to massive (re-) construction works on the line Ciney--Spontin--Yvoir, the normally held train festival on the Chemin de Fer du Bocq had to be cancelled; bringing some extra trains and an Open Weekend at Retrotrain instead.

Like every year, the popular steam tour with the “Train Casse” took place this year. In addition to the journey, the culinary part also contributes a lot to the success. The stately train consists of 40 axles. Trailer load reaches the Lausanne train station with the (ex) SNCF 141 R 568. Oct 26, 2024

La DER de la saison / The end of the 2024 season of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn - The end of the end: Thanks to the time change, the very last train of the season runs in the blue hour. The Bernina Bahn Rhb Ge 4/4 81 de Blonay Chamby bahn brought the last train to Blonay and waits for the empty material train to return to Chaulin. So the 2024 season is finally over - what remains are many beautiful memories and photos, and of course a big thank you to the volunteers of the Blonay Chamby Bahn for once again a very successful season! The DER of the 2024 season! Mon dernier Train - My last train . Another really nice whistle, and then the train started moving, passed the exit signal from Blonay and is now heading to Chaulin.
