At the festival roundhouse at 18.08.2012 in South Westphalian Railway Museum in Siegen the 218 128-7 was presented on the turntable. The locomotive was 1971/72 built by Krupp under the serial number 5149, the phasing out was made on 27.05.2010.

DB 218 429-9 arriving in Singen (Htw) with its RE 3 3057 from Basel Bad Bf to Friedrichshafen-Hafen. DB 245s are usually used on this route, so the beautiful DB 218 offers a pleasant change, especially since this beautifully designed locomotive, once seen everywhere, is now quite rare. March 15, 2025 

When 218 trains were still pulling/pushing on the Hundsrückbahn - the DB 218 414-1 is waiting to depart in Emmelshausen with its train to Boppard. Unfortunately I missed or didn't have time to take photos of this scenic railway. March 18, 2018 

Rabbit 218 833 stands aside at Hannover Hbf on 20 September 2016. Class 218.8 were used for incidental haulage of stranded ICE emus. Nowadays, the last engines of these class are deployed for car carrying shuttles between Niebüll and Westerland on Sylt island. 
