On 2 December 2020 ELL/NSR 193 766 calls at Deventer with the IC-Berlijn. These trains were hauled by NS Class 1700s, but in 2020 the first Vectrons were deployed in revenue-earning service as test. After succesfully completing the test phase, NS Reizigers leased up to twelve Vectrons from ELL and supplanted the CLass 1700s with these three-phase current machines that received a yellow with blue paint job. 
