In July 2016 I found this photo location north of Faido, a little above the Broscerina Tunnel with a view of the 103 meter long Polmengo Bridge, which bridges the Ticino River here. But the joy didn't last long, the opening of the Gotthard Bassis Tunnel was imminent and the journey was too long for me for a "measly" TILO Flirt that only runs every hour. But with the unfortunate derailment of a few freight cars a few kilometers from here, but deep under the mountain, traffic on the "Panorama" route begins to pick up again for a few weeks and I drove to Faido: In the picture is a SBB "Giruno" RABe 501 on the way to Lugano.
