In the background, the SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 was waiting to continue its journey. The diesel railcar runs as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and has a fairly long stop period of nine minutes. Gièvres train station. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon. Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. Two SNCF OUIGO TGV trains can be seen on the LGV Méditerranée high-speed line from Combe-la-Ville to Saint Louis LN5! The picture was taken at kilometer 577.3 near Lapalud. In the picture the SNCF OUIGO 7851 from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice-Ville with the Rame 778 and 779 (right in the picture) and the SNCF OUIGO 7842 from Marseille St-Charles to Lille Flanders with the TGV Rame 787 and 780. October 1st 2024
