At 264 meters long, the valley crossing Epfenhofen Bridge is the longest bridge on the Sauschwänzlebahn and, as far as I have seen, also the most impressive bridge on the route. August 27, 2022

Back then... A wonderful scene of a country station, which at that time still had a lot of freight traffic, and the goods were also carted in and transported on by horse-drawn carts. Today... Local freight transport has practically become obsolete. But today, to our credit, one or two museums are taking care to show the past. The picture was taken in the Black Forest in Seebrugg, at the IG 3Seenbahn e.V. and, in addition to the already mentioned ambience, shows the Breuer locomotor 171 from the AEV (Achertäler Eisenbahnverein), which is in use here on loan. Behind them are the two freight cars type G02  Hannover  No. 56712 and the era-moderately modern Gmms60 DB 162 450. September 23, 2023
