Autour de la voie ferrée / Around the iron railway (autumn event 2024) - This year a guest at the Blonay-Chamby railway: the beautifully prepared GFM (Historique) BDe 4/4 141 in  fir green ; The railcar was built in 1972, but the rounded head shape makes it seem much younger to me. The picture shows the GFM railcar shunting in Blonay.

Two SNCF OUIGO TGV trains can be seen on the LGV Méditerranée high-speed line from Combe-la-Ville to Saint Louis LN5! 
The picture was taken at kilometer 577.3 near Lapalud. In the picture the SNCF OUIGO 7851 from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice-Ville with the Rame 778 and 779 (right in the picture) and the SNCF OUIGO 7842 from Marseille St-Charles to Lille Flanders with the TGV Rame 787 and 780.

Until the work on the eastern bank of the Sense is completed, this motif of the outgoing BLS MIKA RABe 528 119 as S2 15247 with Laupen Castle as the background from the platform will have to suffice; later the path along the Sense will certainly allow for much more impressive images.

In the background, the SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 was waiting to continue its journey. The diesel railcar runs as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and has a fairly long stop period of nine minutes.  Gièvres train station. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon.  Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres. April 7, 2024

The SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 is traveling as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and leaves Gièvres station after a rather long stop of nine minutes. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon, the tracks of which can be seen in the foreground in the left part of the picture. Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres.

North of Bollène a road leads over the Rhone and then over two bridges to Lapalud. On the one hand, the two bridges lead over the LGV 75200 LN5 and barely twenty meters later over the route 830000 Paris - Marseille, the left Rhone route, which exceptionally runs on the right side of the Rhone. The picture shows the akiem 27192 traveling north with a freight train on the Left Rhone line 83000 at km 689.2.

Since the BWB museum railway currently ends in Schwarzenberg, the BWB (ex ÖBB) 2095.13 bypasses its train in order to then return it to Beznau. This makes the BWB one of the shortest heritage railways in Austria, but one of the most successful in terms of passenger numbers.
