On the ASD, one of the three rounds will continue to be driven by a Beh 4/8, so that of the three new ABe 4/8 471 - 473 only two are ever in use. In the picture the TPC Beh 4/8 592 on the way from Les Diablerets to Aigle. Shortly after the Aigle Château stop and in the middle of the road, the R 71 431 is almost at its destination. Just a few minutes before the arrival of the GoldenPass Express GPX 4065 with the MOB Ge 4/4 Swiss Tainable (at 12:22), the SBB Re 460 Swiss Tainable stopped with its IR 90 Ven Genèe to Brig in Montreux (at 12 :17)! But even if both locomotives had been together in Montreux station, it would hardly have been possible to get both locomotives in one picture. December 7, 2024

The last colorful leaves are still dangling on the bushes and trees, the first snow is covering the mountains - it's autumn; and this offers a light that cannot otherwise be seen all year round. Reason enough to take photos despite the cold breeze: The SBB Re 460 010 Swiss Tainable is on the way to Lausanne with an IR90 near St-Saphorin. Nov 12, 2024

When the sun is low, the light reaches the Château d'Aigle too late for it to be adequately illuminated as a background for railway pictures and so I had to look for a new location for this photo, where the TPC ASD ABe was in the middle of the vineyards above Aigle 4/8 472 was photographed as R 71 on the way to Les Diablerets. The Re 4/4 I 10039 is waiting in Lausanne with its special train 31131 to depart for the destination Zurich Enge. The Re 4/4 I now belongs to SWISS RAIL TRAFFIC and was previously on the Mittelthurgaubahn as Re 416 628 and was previously used by the SBB with the number 10039, which is still registered today. At that time, the locomotive, which was delivered on December 22, 1950, still had the chrome letters SBB - CFF or SBB - FFS on the side walls. December 11, 2024

The Re 4/4 I 10039 provides the special train 31131 in Lausanne. The train runs for a tour group to Zurich Enge (with a stop in Palézieux). The train consists of the Le Salon Bleu 61 85 80-90 200-6 CH-IRSI, the 56 80 89-80 010-2 WGm D-IRSI and the Am 56 80 10-40 360-4 D-IRSI. Since the TEE Rheingold Genève - Amsterdam, at the end of its service life many years ago, consisted of a DB dining car, a DB compartment car and a DB open-plan car and was also pulled by a Re 4/4 I, today's train brings back memories of the TEE 6 / 7, which ran from Geneva for the last time on May 23, 1982 (and then stayed on the Basel - Amsterdam section for a good two years). Unfortunately the Re 4/4 I 10039 was a bit clumsy in front of the sign Crossing the tracks prohibited, and unfortunately these lighting conditions were not for my little snapshots, so I'm showing a cell phone picture here as an exception. A somewhat daring picture given the lighting conditions: the BLS Re 4/4 191 is waiting in Goppenstein with its (quite short) car tunnel train (AT1) in a structure for the departure to Kandersteg. The “superstructure” is called the “Meigenbachtunnel” and is 114 meters long. Sept. 12, 2024
