The TansN (ex cmn) BDe 4/4 N° 3 leaves Le Locle as R 24 N° 22 towards Les Brenets. The line was actually supposed to be closed at the end of 2023, but the storm damage that occurred on July 24, 23 was repaired and the railway is now scheduled to continue running until 2031.
It should be noted that the BDe 4/4 3 and 5, manufactured in Italy in 1950, have now been in use for 74 years!

"Le Chablais en fête" at the Blonay Chamby train. The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, was the reason for this year's autumn festival "Le Chablais en fête" on the Blonay-Chamby railway. A special attraction is the ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1 "TransOrmonan" from ASD as a guest vehicle. The picture shows the BCFe 4/4 N° 1, built in 1913 and rebuilt in 1940, with sidecars in Chamby.

It's almost like being on a model railway: a barely noticeable hill and full of holes like Swiss cheese from the nearby Emmental: Wanzwil. Here, at km 36, the route to Solothurn branches off from the NBS (Olten) - Rothrist - Mattstetten (Bern). While in the middle of the picture the NBS runs through the 3,173 meter long Önzberg tunnel, the two single-track tunnel portals Wolfacker Süd and Nord can be seen to the left and right. The Morges train station with two special vehicles: Since the BAM MBC SURF Be 4/4 dominated passenger traffic, the older Be 4/4 were rarely seen. They are still primarily used in freight and commercial train traffic. The IRSI Re 4/4 II 11387 (Re 421 387) can be seen pushing a Gland - Apples gravel train onto the roller stand next to the Be 4/4 11.
