The SNCF BB 22397 leaves Geneva with its TER 96634 to Grenoble. The use of the once widespread  nez cassé  is declining sharply, so in Geneva I only found this pair of trains from the TER Grenoble-Genève-Grenoble (96605/96634), which runs with a BB 22200. August 20, 2024

Autour de la voie ferrée / Around the iron railway (autumn event 2024) - This year a guest at the Blonay-Chamby railway: the beautifully prepared GFM (Historique) BDe 4/4 141 in  fir green ; The railcar was built in 1972, but the rounded head shape makes it seem much younger to me. The picture shows the GFM railcar shunting in Blonay.

Two SNCF OUIGO TGV trains can be seen on the LGV Méditerranée high-speed line from Combe-la-Ville to Saint Louis LN5! 
The picture was taken at kilometer 577.3 near Lapalud. In the picture the SNCF OUIGO 7851 from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice-Ville with the Rame 778 and 779 (right in the picture) and the SNCF OUIGO 7842 from Marseille St-Charles to Lille Flanders with the TGV Rame 787 and 780.

In the background, the SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 was waiting to continue its journey. The diesel railcar runs as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and has a fairly long stop period of nine minutes.  Gièvres train station. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon.  Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres. April 7, 2024

The SNCF narrow-gauge diesel multiple unit X 74503 is traveling as TER 61285 from Salbris to Valençay and leaves Gièvres station after a rather long stop of nine minutes. In Gièvres there is a connection to the standard gauge line Tours - Vierzon, the tracks of which can be seen in the foreground in the left part of the picture. Unfortunately, there were no standard gauge trains running when TER 61285 was in service. The long stay didn't make sense to me, but it was a good opportunity to take more photos of the train. The relatively long stay of the TER 61285, which I had already noticed when planning this photo excursion, was also the reason for photographing this train in Gièvres.
