An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the  Tahl  and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future.

The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM 
 and was subsequently taken over by the BLS.

Although ICN RABDe 500 multiple units from the Jura foot line arrive in Lausanne every hour, these are practically never seen on the subsequent Simplon line; There was an exception at the beginning of August 2022, when an ICN took over the power of an IR 90 and was (surprisingly) photographed here in Vevey. On the right in the picture is the SBB RABe 511 102 leaving for St-Maurice. August 4, 2022

 Le Chablais en fête  at the Blonay Chamby train. The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars railway 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, were the reason for this year's autumn festival  Le Chablais en fête. The ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1 ran as a special attraction  TransOrmonan  of the TPC with its B 35 as a guest vehicle on the Blonay-Chamby railway. While the ASD railcar is already in the shadows in Blonay, a CEV MVR ABeh 2/6 leaves the station towards Les Pléidades.

The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The train is waiting for the BLS RABe 521 to depart as R1 from Domodossola to Bern, in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen. January 3, 2024

Since August 2022, the remote route in the Vallée de Joux has been directly accessible from the Mittelland thanks to the S-Bahn trains from Aigle and Lausanne. The picture shows an SBB RABe 523 coming from Aigle and reaching its destination Le Brassus.

Shortly afterwards the TPC AOMC ASD Beh 4/8 591 arrives from the opposite direction, which is on the way to Les Diablerets as R71 436. Since the third round is also covered by an ABe 4/8, as seen fleetingly, the BDe 4/4 services will now probably become the exception. July 21, 2024
