A TGV! at Villeneuve? - not that I have never seen one here, BUT in spring 2017 the last TGV de Neige ran from Lausanne towards Valais and back, because the connection could no longer be offered due to the conversion of the routes to ETCS. The TGV Bern - Paris via Basel ran via the main line instead of NBS due to the lack of ETCS equipment on the TGV trains. So it was more than surprising when a TGV suddenly showed up near Villeneuve today! In the picture the inoui TGV Rame 4715 near Villeneuve, the destination and purpose of the trip are unknown to me. June 4, 2024
