I have often mentioned that “my” popular MOB photo locations in the surrounding area are hardly suitable for the GoldenPass Express due to backlighting. Now I have found an exception: At Les Avants in midsummer, the first train can be seen perfectly in the light and in its entire, now normal length: the MOB Ge 4/4 8002 is with the Golden Pass Express GEX 4064 from Montreux to Interlaken East just before Les Avants. In Zweisimmen, a BLS Re 465 will replace the MOB Ge 4/4 8002. In the background the Valais and Savoyard Alps and, far below, Lac Léman.

An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the "Tahl" and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future.
The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM

The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The BLM Be 4/6 can now be seen in scheduled operation. They are currently running the current Be 4/4 21, 23 and 31 railcars in mixed operation, which is not that easy to show photographically. The BLM 4/6 102 "Mönch" is almost at the end of its journey as R66 3747 from Grütschalp to Mürren in the foggy forest.

Due to a sharp increase in passengers, RegionAlps was forced to rent a RABe 528 from BLS, which frees up two RegionAlps Dominos. At the beginning of spring I saw and photographed a BLS RABe 528 and decided to photograph the train again in the summer, if possible with a ship. In early summer, however, I discovered that the RABe 528 was no longer running in the same round and I looked for it for some time in vain, so I thought that the operation had already ended. But when a BLS RABe 528 happened to pass me in Valais yesterday, I tried my luck in St-Gingolph today: While the BLS RABe 528 105 "MIKA" is waiting to leave as R91 6121 to Brig, you can see it far out on the lake Steamship LA SUISSE the St Gingolph pier. Shortly before Les Planches (Aigle) the TPC ASD ABe 4/8 471 is on the way. The train runs as R71 432 from Aigle to Les Diablerets. Due to the late arrival of the oncoming train to Aigle, the train left five minutes late and lost another four to five minutes on the journey to get here.
