On 22 August 2018 DBC 189 034 hauls an iron ore train through Venlo Vierpaardjes and is about to pass a railway crossing. After decades of fuzzing to and fro, finally the railway crossing will make place for a short tunnel, wiping out half of the neighbourhood in the proces -and ending photo possibilities on this erstwhile famous vantage spot.

A sweet surprise at the end of the day: In Lausanne on platform 2 is the TPF RBDe 560 245 CHOCOLAT EXPRESS as an empty material train. Since my little photographer would have been overwhelmed by the lighting conditions, I grabbed my cell phone so that although I didn't get a top-quality picture, I was still able to immortalize the special scene.
